The Sea Cliff Arts Council presents the first Sea Cliff Jazz Fest

The Sea Cliff Jazz Fest, produced in partnership with the Love Your Neighbor Project, will feature student, local, and professional musicians at venues around Sea Cliff on Sunday, January 18th. Thanks to support from our sponsors, all performances are free. No tickets needed.

Meet our artists
Long island-based bassist James Cammack has recorded and toured with jazz legends including Ahmad Jamal and Nancy Wilson He will be joined by his trio for an exciting and contemporary set at the arts council.
Sea Cliff’s own Meridian Jazz Trio returns to reclaim their residency at Foster (formerly the Metropolitan Bistro). Meridian features guitarist Frank Ferrara, bassist Matthew Schneider, and drummer James Guarneri.
Emmy Irvine Will Winchester Quartet
Originally from Southampton, England, Emmy Irvine is a New York based jazz vocalist. Emmy currently studies at Oberlin Conservatory where she works to honor master jazz vocalists including Sarah Vaughan, Carmen McRae, and Betty Carter through modern performance. Will Winchester is a Sea Cliff-based bass player. He currently studies Jazz at Oberlin Conservatory.
Ruby Laks
Ruby Laks began playing drums at age 9, studying more seriously after moving to Los Angeles at age 11. Laks attended LACHSA, where she developed skills in jazz drums and classical voice. Laks later attended Oberlin Conservatory where she had the privilege of honing her skills under the guidance of Jazz greats Billy Hart and La Tanya Hall.
Ruby’s performance experience ranges from intimate jazz clubs and private events to notable stages like Carnegie Hall, The Neuehouse Hollywood, and The Monterey Jazz Festival with the Women in Jazz Band. She’s currently based in NYC.
Ethan DiPietro Guitar Duo
Ethan Dipietro is a New York based musician and music curator. Dipietro graduated from Oberlin conservatory where he studied jazz guitar and music programming. Currently he organizes the Prospect Jams music series in Prospect Park.
