Join us for an evening of cello music through the ages! Spanning from Bach's solo unaccompanied cello suites, to modern reimagining of romantic era music arranged as cello duets and quartets, and a special chamber music surprise at the end, this recital covers a wide array of the cello repertoire. The performers are all students of Josh Epstein, and have practiced during the summer in order to make this concert a reality. The summer recital provides a chance for these students to perform outside of an orchestral context, and to hone their rhythmic and aural capabilities in a much smaller ensemble setting, serving as a valuable experience towards their musical development.
