Adam Cordero Arcadia Quintet - Welwyn Suite

$20.00

Saturday, November 7
4:00 P.M. - 5:00 P.M.

Adam's jazz quintet Arcadia will be presenting a suite inspired by the natural landscapes of Welwyn Preserve in Glen Cove, translating the textures, rhythms, and atmospheres of its woodlands, shoreline, and open spaces into a dynamic musical work. The ensemble features New York city's finest jazz musicians, including guitarists Emmanuel Michael and Odin Scherer, bassist Jayla Chee, and drummer Eliza Salem.

Adam Cordero is a New York–based saxophonist, composer, and multi-instrumentalist working at the intersection of modern jazz, electronics, and acoustic traditions. His work explores sound design, improvisation, and nature-inspired composition, often integrating live electronics to expand the sonic possibilities of the woodwind family. Active as both a bandleader and collaborator, he performs internationally and across New York City's leading jazz venues while maintaining a strong presence as an educator in the Nassau County area.

This project is made possible with funds from the Statewide Community Regrants Program, a regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature and administered by The Huntington Arts Council.
