On view is a curated selection of photographs spanning Michael Ach’s nearly five-decade career. The exhibition features images of nature, fine art photography, portraits, and a range of newspaper and magazine assignments. It also highlights his 22 years as a staff photographer for Newsday. Complementing this body of work are photographs from his travels to Cuba, India, Nepal, and across Europe. This diverse collection reflects the breadth of his vision and offers something for every viewer to enjoy.
Michael E. Ach has been a photographer and artist for 50 years. A graduate from New York Tech with an BFA and C.W. Post with an MFA. Published in many magazines and Newspapers including Newsweek, Time Magazine, Vanity Fair, and the New York Times. Staff photographer for Newsday and New York Newsday 1986 to 2008. Permanent collections Morgan Library, Heckscher Museum. Exhibits. Various awards including a shared Pulitzer 1997.
