Michael E. Ach:

Showing March through April 2024

86 Roslyn Avenue, Sea Cliff, New York 11579

These assemblages start with a found object as a prompt. From the inspiration of that first piece of wood, metal or ceramic I go on to sculpt, paint, and assemble a box or frame filled with forms and content. Though based on years of study of nature, art and humanity these visionary pieces are mysterious dream manifestations of the unconscious mind. Increasingly this surreal work is informed by the climate crises, political upheaval and the tsunami of changing times we all live in.
